This week brought a blast from the past, as Beth and I visited the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. Memories of childhood flooded forth as we viewed the model train set, updated and improved from the 1960s with a new layout. We also visited the U-505 in its “new” home, which was a real treat. I remember going into the sub as a kid, and visiting it again brought back all sorts of memories.
